Born in the city of Toronto in 1971, I moved to Scarborough in 1979. I attended Chartland Jr. Public school, Henry Kelsey Sr. Public school, Albert Campbell Collegiate and graduated from the Alternative Scarborough Education (A.S.E.) program with my grade 12 diploma. I went on to study Computer Graphics design and support at Seneca College.

Married in 1998, I now live in the quiet West Rouge community where my wife and I are raising our two children. During the summer months, I am actively involved with a number of local slo-pitch teams and in the winter I spend much of my time at the hockey rink both playing and coaching; photography is a year round obsession hobby.
